Hi there! I’m a web design student at the Academy of Art University. Previously, I studied at the University of Southern California, majoring in journalism.

I had been working as a Interactive Design at iChinese Reader, actively involving in graphic design, product marketing, and user operations. Working closely with engineers and quality assurance for usability testings and product localization. I found myself fascinated by brainstorming and fine-tuning numerous user flows, and surprisingly excited when receiving a positive user feedback. That was the moment when I realized that I'm going to be a Product Designer.

Correspondent - WFHB - Bloomington Community Radio

• Arranged phone-call interview with environmental experts, conducted a feature story on the air quality problem in Bloomington, edited in Adobe Audition, and aired, which was listened by more than 1,000 people.

• Communicated to the Indiana state officials and covered politics and law stories about Indiana.

• Monitored story progress and ensured the quality of news stories that can be aired by hitting the hard deadline.

• Gained 1M+ Weibo (Chinese version of Facebook) views by filming a video about durian tasting.

• Increased traffic by 30% by initiating video content on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube based on the trendy topics happening in the community, acquiring brand awareness and content engagement.

• Responsible for market research, analyse the need of target customers and competitors, explore the existing problems and optimization points of app, optimize the design of wireframe and user flow

• In order to balance customer needs and achieve business objectives, the optimized user process and wireframe have improved user views

• Conduct a / b testing and prototyping optimize the app better, observe the changes of user behaviour (Adobe XD)
